Description
The Traminer Roz grapes are harvested after the frosty nights at the beginning of winter, to produce a precious dessert wine, a masterpiece in the art of winemaking - Eiswein Jidvei.
When the frost is left over the hills of Târnavelor, the vineyards here are not empty of grapes. There are still those that, for 60 days of low temperatures, the cold and frost bake them as the sun did, over the summer. Thus, wisely enduring the cold of the Transylvanian winter, these grapes gather in them much more sweetness and a deep richness of aromas. These are the Traminer Roz grapes, which we harvest after the frosty nights at the beginning of winter and from which we make, after pressing them at temperatures lower than -10 degrees, Eiswein: a precious dessert wine, a masterpiece in the art of winemaking.
