Description
Cuvee Blanc is our finest white wine, carefully selected from our oldest and best single vineyard parcels on "Dealul Tiganului" - Gypsey Hill in Recas. Each varietal is vinified seperately in both new French oak barriques and stainless steel tanks, and then expertly selected and blended by veteran chief winemaker Hartley Smithers to create a harmonic masterpice. Chardonnay, Feteasca Regala, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat Ottonel combine to form a zesty, complex and intense wine, with notes of white peach, stone fruits on the nose, a fresh and fruit packed pallet with yellow mellon and citrus, full bodied yet crisp and taut with a smooth finish. Perfect served young with seafood salads or oriental dishes, it will also be a wine that ages perfectly and improves over serval years gaining complexity and weight.
