Dealu Mare - DOC-CMD

In the glass, this exceptional blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon pours out releasing fresh aromas of tropical fruits and summer flowers. The taste delights with the voice of citrus and herbaceous sensations. A fresh, elegant wine that displays a perfect balance between the two varieties from which it was created.

We recommend culinary combinations with grilled fish, seafood pasta, selected cheeses or sushi.

The winemaker of the Budureasca Winery, Stephen Donnelly, had a really inspired idea: to unite two genetically related varieties - the "father" Sauvignon Blanc and the "child" Cabernet Sauvignon - in a wine that allows each variety to express its own personality.

For the production of this special limited edition blend, we selected Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the best plots of Budureasca vineyards. In the vinification process of the wine, we used only ravac must (obtained without pressing the grapes). The two musts were filtered immediately, then mixed in the same stainless steel tank, being ennobled with yeasts selected from white wines. Fermentation was performed for three weeks at a constant temperature of about 16 ° C.
