Description

The Paparuda is an ancient Romanian rain ritual performed either in the Spring or in times of severe drought. Wearing a grass of knitted vines, a dancing girl is accompanied through the village by singing, shouting locals intent on securing fertility for the season ahead.

Paparuda wines respect a rich Romanian heritage whilst celebrating the energy and creativity of modern country.

Guava, bannana and white peach notes dominate the aroma of this full bodied white wine. The pallate is packed with explosive, juicey fruit notes-papaya, mango and a hint of citrus with vanilla notes from a touch of fine french oak.

Serve moderately chilled with artichoke rissoto or rich seafood dishes like Paella Valencian.
