Description
Grapes: Syrah 100%
Origin of grapes: Jirovel Farm, Jirov Village, Corcova Commune, Mehedinti County
Terrain: Brown luvic.
Exposure: Southern
Altitude: 250 - 300 m.
Density of plantation: 5.555 plants / hectare.
Harvesting period: September
Fermentation: Maturation in grape fermentation at a controlled temperature.
Maturation: 9 months in old and new oak barrels.
Production: 11.600 bottles.
Serving temperature: 18-19°C
Colour: Deep ruby red.
Tasting Notes: The bouquet evolves from ripened blackberries to roasted coffee beans.
This wine reveals aromas of black cherry, hints of spices, whilst the aftertaste expresses
overtones of softened dark chocolate.
This is a full bodied wine that is perfectly balanced with promising tannins.
Although the wine is still young, it has the personality of a mature wine that will have
more to say in a few years. It deserves to be decanted for half an hour before serving.
Recomended dishes: Red meat with spicy sauces, matured cheese, game meat.
