Description

Grapes: Feteasca Neagra 100%
Origin of grapes: Jirovel Farm, Jirov Village, Corcova Commune, Mehedinti County
Terrain: Brown luvic.
Exposure: South
Altitude: 250 - 300 m
Density of plantation: 6.160 plants / hectare
Harvesting period: Handpicked between September 18th and 19th

Fermentation: 3 days maceration before fermentation to extract the colours and aromas
followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature
Maturation: In stainless steel tanks for 7 months
Production: 8.600 bottles

Serving temperature: 17-18°C
Colour: Deep red

Tasting Notes: This wine has a strong fruity flavour with hints of aged red fruits,
blueberries and blackberries. A light airing in the glas reveals spicy notes, capped by a
long and impressive aromatic aftertaste.

Recommended dishes: Poultry dishes, fowl and strong matured cheeses.
